Hamilton's (Stillwater, Oklahoma)

The Motorola 19CK1 in our collection was donated by Gene Hamilton, whose father operated Hamilton's, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

From left to right, an unidentified young employee. In the background behind truck wearing a suit is Gene's paternal grandfather Verne Hamilton.  The tall guy is an electronics technician named Dale Bird. Far right in the hat is Vernon D. Hamilton Jr.

Photograph shot inside Hamilton's Appliance, as the store was originally known. Left to right, standing, are Gene's father, Gene's mother Anice F. Hamilton, Dale Bird,  Gene's paternal grandmother Sylvia B. Hamilton with her husband Verne Hamilton..  Crouching is the unidentified young employee again.

Gene's father rather uncharacteristically seated at a typewriter
