Telindustries 1948 Prototype

This is a developmental prototype set from 1948. It was assembled with nuts & bolts on the chassis rather than rivets like the production ones had, and is very primitive. Telindustries never got this TV to the market, but 4 years later Telindustries was bought out by Harry Kaye and Howard Halbert and the new Kaye-Halbert Corp sold a similar version of this TV. It has a 15 inch DuMont glass CRT.
