2008 Early Television Convention

The 2008 Early Television Convention was held on Friday, May 2, Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4 at the Early Television Museum in Hilliard, Ohio. The buffet lunch, presentations, and banquet were held at the Makoy Center, a conference facility about 2 blocks from the museum.

Attendance this year was just over 100, our best year so far. The entire convention was presented live on the internet.

This year, we had a live auction of many of the items from Dave Johnson's collection. Total sales from the auction were almost $19,000.

Bob Galanter's video about CRT rebuilding was shown at the convention. The newly acquired CRT rebuilding plant was also on display.
