CTC-3 is the first color television chassis designation that is not a color television chassis. It exists because the CTC-2B chassis required more advanced convergence circuitry for its much larger (100 vs. 255 sq in.) tricolor picture tube. A CTC-3 is actually a small control panel containing convergence controls. It is located inside the CTC-2B cabinet and is not designed to be user adjusted.
