Recently Bob Galanter shot 4 hours of raw footage over a
period of two and a half days with Scott Avitt at Hawkeye. The
footage shows the dying art of rebuilding a CRT from start to
finish. There is also footage of the first ever rebuild of a
19VP22 color tube (the tube now works perfectly in John Folsom's
Motorola set).
The final edit will be about 90 minutes, and will be shown
continuously at the convention. Attendees can also see the
picture tube rebuilding plant recently acquired by the museum.
