Postwar DX (Long Distance) TV Reception

Starting in the 50s, TV DX became a hobby for a substantial number of people. When conditions were right, it was possible to receive TV stations, especially low band channels 2-6, for long distances. In Florida, for instance, New York City channel was received frequently in the summer months. On occasion, stations from South America could also be received.
